Every engagement ring is built from scratch around your specifications — the center stone, metal, setting style, and any additional details you want included. There's no preset inventory to choose from. You decide what goes into the ring, and we handle the design and fabrication. Whether you have a clear vision or just a starting point, we'll work with you through the entire process. All custom engagement rings are made in the USA using premium materials, and no two are exactly alike.

What Does a Custom Engagement Ring Cost?

The center stone drives the majority of the cost in a custom engagement ring — carat weight, cut, clarity, and whether you choose natural or lab-grown will have the biggest impact on your final price. From there, metal type and setting complexity add to the investment. Most custom engagement rings range from $1,500 to $10,000+, with a full quote provided before anything is designed or produced.

Lab-Grown vs. Natural
Custom

DESIGNING YOUR CUSTOM RING

What To Consider When Designing A Custom Engagement Ring

A custom engagement ring is a deeply personal creation — and a few key decisions shape everything about how it looks, wears, and feels for a lifetime.

Before we begin, we ask you to consider:

01

The shape of the center stone and how it reflects your personality

02

Which metal best suits your lifestyle, skin tone, and long-term wear

03

The setting style that will frame and protect the stone beautifully

04

How the ring will hold up over time for an active, everyday life

Getting these decisions right from the start is how we ensure your ring feels as perfect ten years from now as it does the day you receive it.

Custom Engagement Rings FAQs

Do I need to know my partner’s ring size before starting the design?

+

No you don't need that information right away. We can start the design process without knowing the size, you can try a few ways of finding out the exact size, one tip is to measure an existing ring they currently wear. Speak to our team for more information and we will help you every step of the way.

Can I use lab-grown diamonds?

+

Yes. We offer you the ability to use natural diamonds or lab-grown diamonds or a combination of both in your engagement ring. Speak to our team and they will help you make smart decisions that fit your vision and budget.

Can I see a preview or rendering of the ring before it’s made?

Diamond Cut Grades: How A Diamond Is Cut Affects It's Brilliance

The way a diamond is cut has the biggest impact on how it looks in real life—its sparkle, brightness, and overall personality. Here’s how each cut grade plays into your custom ring, pendant, or earring design.

Look
On the Hand
Best For
Excellent (EX)
Excellent Cut

Clients who want the most radiant look and prioritize cut quality.

Very Good (VG)
Very Good Cut

Strong brilliance and fire with only minor differences from Excellent to the naked eye.

Beautiful, lively sparkle that performs very well in everyday lighting.

Custom pieces where you want a balance of high performance and budget flexibility.

Good (GD)
Good Cut
Pretty Sparkle • Thoughtful Value

Noticeable sparkle with some areas of darkness or reduced light return.

Still attractive, especially in smaller stones or designs with multiple diamonds.

Accent stones, pavé, or clients who prefer to prioritize size over top-tier cut.

Fair (F)
Fair Cut
Subtle Sparkle • Compromised Light

Limited brilliance; the diamond can appear slightly dull or flat.

Less “wow” factor, especially in larger sizes or center stones.

Only specific design situations where cut is less visible and budget is primary.
